Mentryville was a historic oil boom town now ghost town. Mentryville consists today of a historic one room schoolhouse built in 1885, a 13 room Victorian Mansion built sometime between 1891 and 1893 and a mule barn built in 1887. All these buildings are in dire need of repair.
In the next several months the historic Felton Schoolhouse in the historic oil town of Mentryville in the hills of Pico Canyon will be restored to its original state please check this blog for the progress of the restoration
